Approach to find related/similar articles?

Hello,

what is a good approach/content-model to get related articles in detail view of an article?

In my content-model I use categories (find other articles in same category) and string-tags (find articles which have one of the keywords in title/content) to reach this.

But is there another way to find similar articles?

This is via the admin interface or the endpoint APIs?
