Can Strapi be used as an ERP system for smaller e-commerce?

I’m thinking of including strapi as a product database so the client can easily add products to their site. Just wondering if that’s a good idea.

Its certaintly possible, you’d just be creating an API where various ecommerce apps could hit your endpoints and get the data it needs to create/update products.

Would require a decent amount of setup though, would personally opt for an open source ERP and skip a lot of the initial setup. https://erpnext.com/
