What is the “best” rich text editor for strapi right now? “Best” meaning easy to use, modern UI and easy to render in a frontend?

We looked into some in the past but they looked very cumbersome and old fashioned

Have you tried ckeditor5?

Thanks looked into it. Looks cumbersome again (e.g. no shortcuts on the keyboard to switch text style from e.g. paragrahph to h2 or something

I created a plugin in Strapi that uses GrapesJS which is a fairly good editor and quite customisable. Unfortunately I can’t share the code with you, but I’d be willing to try help you.

I have no regrets over our choice of editor, it has a lot of options and you can do a lot of things with it, so the UI isn’t that clean, but flexibility comes at a cost
