How to query translated content while keeping the sorting order of origin language?

Hi guys, when using the i18n plugin for translations for blog posts, let say my default locale is English and I have already published 10 posts. Now I’d like to add translations in Chinese, but I might not do it in the same order of my original English posts, maybe I will do the translation for the latest post first and work my way back.

Now the problem is translated blog posts has their own publish dates, so if I query by publish date in English it will in the correct order but when I do the same for Chinese it’s going to be all messed up because I might not translate them in the same order.

So my question is how can I query the Chinese blog posts while keeping the order of their original language? Any help would be much appreciated!
