Make field required conditionally in Strapi

Hey all,
If anyone can help me out, I have a content-type that has a bunch of fields and I need to add 2 new ones (an enumerable and a text field), the enumerable one is always required but I need the text field to only be required if a specific enumerable is selected. Having a bit of trouble finding the solution for this. I saw an approach with extensions on the forums but it’s heavily outdated and didn’t manage to make it work. Anyone has any idea how to approach this?

The only way you can do it currently is through lifecycle methods. With an beforeX hook. You can throw an error if your specific conditions are not met.
