We have switched to n18 feature from strapi but we are facing more and more performance issues. We have per language appr. 50k content-type and starts now to increase to more languages. The translation process is quite forward: German is the base and we create related to German translation to spanish, chinese etc.
We see a big increase in the CPU to 1000% (still fine, we can go up to 16x) but the speed of translations are getting incredible slow. as we only translate a content type i.e. with 4 fields a ca. 20 words, it take appr. 2-3 seconds to translate according our tests outside of Strapi, but the DB is somehow receiving a huge amount of requests from Strapi and takes between 30-40 seconds. Bigger content Type with more relations and more words, takes longer than 1 minute.
We are thinking to handle again translation outside of strapi, but we were not able to identify the issue and we think that other e-commerce shops has bigger sizes of content.
Any help would be great.
