I have a Category content type. A Category can have many Categories but belongs to only one parent Category. Its a good old fashioned run of the mill self referencing table. I have built these a million time in sql.
Category
- Id
- name
- parentId ( points to a single parent category )
- children ( points to many child categories )
I thought I had this set up correctly but I kept getting call stack errors when trying to add child or parent categories. I have searched Bing and Google search as well as watched a few YT videos about relations but I cannot find anything that explains how to build a self referencing one to many relation. Does anyone know of a blog or something that explains how to set this up in strapi?
