Hello! I would like to ask you if it’s possible to build two related fields in strapi admin ui, where from the first one I could pick up a state and from the second one I could get all related cities of it? Is that possible and how? Regards

As far as I know there is not such feature on Strapi right now. But I remember there is a plugin that do it.

I could not find it on the market

There it is, but won’t publish it to the market until v5, there is few downsides like a strapi transfer that would not work with it

Is there any tutorial or step by step guide how to use it as I want to build two dependent fields. For a state related cities? I read your github read me file and sorry I did not understand too much about it. Perhaps a medium.com description article or a YouTube video definitely would help me a lot! Regards

Hello <@614097809901224085> ! I have seen your plugin and unfortunately all your collection types such as car, brand etc reside in this specific plugin in order words all in the same folder (level). I have already created some collection types that don’t reside in a specific plugin but via admin ui, is it possible to make something or not in order to pick selected cities via specific state? Regards

You need have collection type with an attribute parent witch is hasOne to itself

<@614097809901224085> I have read it but it is not clear to me. I want to use one field in a collection type for example book state and another city. Each time that I select a state suggested cities will pop up. I understand that I should build a collection type first where I could mention state along with its city and afterwards create a relation for state but I do not know how city would pop up in relevant field. Is there any different way for it? Regards

Well, you can think about it as:
Country => state (parent is Country) => city (parent is state)

So you first create countries, then states then cities
