Cannot upload *.glb/file with custom ending, into media component

Hello

Am I missing a setting or is this a bug?
I cannot add my *.glb files to my media type component, although as allowed file type i checked files. I get an warning “Warning:You can’t upload this type of file, only the following types are accepted – file”. Of course the entry in the collection type has already been created.

I can upload a .*glb file into the media library and then assign it to my field (but this gets quite annoying as the media library is growing). I remember this used to work in Strapi4.

Is there a setting I am missing?

Did you find a solution to this one? I haven’t been able to figure this out, either.
