Can't login using password reset

I never received a password reset email after requesting one.

Welcome @Charlotte_Tao, Are you using the
-quickstart flagship?

I’ll assume that using -quickstart and that you are testing this on your local environment. Here is a hack: locate the .tmp/data.db

You can open this sqlite viewer… then delete the strapi_administator table.

Reset your project. It will prompt you to create a new administrator. That works.

Thanks. I’m using Strapi as a CMS tool. Not sure how to run the instructions you provided since I don’t have a technical background.

You can also reset your password through the command.
admin:reset-password
