Compatibility of Facebook and Google tags with Strapi

Hey there
I use Strapi for the blog of my website and I would like to make some retargeting ads of its visitors. I plugged Facebook pixel on each pages for it, using Google Tag Manager, but the audience volumes are much lower than what I see with Google Analytics.

By example: 54 000 visitors of the blog on the last 30 days according to Google Analytics, and only 4800 according to Facebook.
Both are plugged with Google Tag Manager, with the same triggers

I know that we cannot have 100% accuracy between different tools, with adblocks, cookie consents etc. But 9% match seems much too low to be true

Which leaves me wondering if Strapi does not have an incompatibility with tags from advertising tools like Facebook or Google Ads via Google Tag Manager ?
Has anyone had a similar problem?

Thank you very much for your help

Hello @Walter,

From what I know Facebook and Google tags are used in the frontend.

Strapi is a headless CMS, meaning it is backend “tech” (for lack of better word).

What I am trying to say is that if Strapi is compatible or not with a frontend advertising tool like Facebook/Google tags is not a valid question.

Your issue is frontend only so Strapi has nothing to do with it.

I hope my answer is helpful
