How to deep populate

I’m trying to populate a field called articles in a component within a dynamic zone on the “home” page of my page collection.
this is a relational field with many articles.
Why this structure doesn’t work? /pages?filters[slug]=home&populate[contentSections][on][section.article-pick][populate][articles][populate]=true
All i get from this component is the title field.
