Idiomatic way to modify strapi admin html / css

Hello, my relation names are currently being cut off:

I’d like to modify the css so that these elements aren’t given equal spacing. I want the ‘minus’ symbol to have a much smaller width than it currently has so that my data can show through.

I’d appreciate any tips and/or confirmations that this is the idiomatic way to accomplish this.
