Path of an embedded image in a ritch text field

Hello everyone,

If I create a single type with a text field and then try to embed a picture in the ritch text field, I see a line like the following on the frontend in JSON instead of a path to the picture:! [ServicesContent.png] (/uploads/Services_Content_61f4733aa3.png)

Although I was able to parse out the path to the image, I am wondering why the path is not returned directly. Have I configured something wrong, or are there more practical ways to determine the path than parsing.
