Hi, every day the permissions reset for some custom controllers we have. We set them one day, and when I log in the next day they are not set anymore. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

yes, since at least 4.14.x. Someone else created an issue on github and I added some analysis. It’s marked as confirmed but no plenty of releases have been done without addressing it. Strapi is not honoring the settings when reading the permissions · Issue #18997 · strapi/strapi · GitHub
I’m surprised it seems like a major issue
It’s because it’s required I believe, if the field is required the user has to have access to it
