Plugin admin building

I have a plugin that i am trying to write. I created a new one using the strapi plugin generate
I run yarn develop from the new plugin folder in order to watch for file changes.

Issue:
The default admin ui is not built. Not even if i run the build the command manually. I am trying to change the default text and it doesn’t change
What do i miss?
