Rich Text Editor Add Link to files

The editor is simple but it works very well. Is there a way to insert links to documents like mp3s, pdfs, etc? We have uploaded quite a few files and if there could be a button to put the link with the media explorer it would be very useful.
Is it possible?

• add resources(mp3s, pdfs, etc) to your media library.

• open media library and locate you resource.

• copy the link form the page
  

  

• paste using the link tag from the content manager.
