We are North Atlantic Industries, a leading independent supplier of rugged commercial-off-the-shelf embedded computing products. We are seeking a talented full-stack web developer to join us on a contract basis and help us develop a new company website and CMS. Our goal is to migrate from our current website, built with JQuery/HTML/CSS and a custom CMS written in C# with an MS SQL database, to a more dynamic and easily-editable solution using Strapi Headless CMS as the backend, SvelteKit as the frontend, and Postgres on AWS as the database.
Job Title: Web Development Consultant
Location: Fully Remote
Contract Duration: 3+ months, with the possibility of extension based on our needs
Hours: 20-40 hours/week
Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our team to further develop our existing barebones Strapi project and SvelteKit frontend.
- Configure and customize Strapi to meet our content management needs, including creating content types, dynamic zones, and components to enable easy editing of website pages and content.
- Ensure seamless integration between the frontend and backend components.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Strapi, SvelteKit, Tailwind, AWS S3, and Postgres.
- Strong understanding of modern web development principles and best practices.
- Experience in building scalable and dynamic websites and CMS platforms.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly AWS
- Bonus: Knowledge of C#/.NET, which can help in understanding our current architecture.
Salary: $80-$110/hour
