Strapi v5 — Prep and Migration

Hi,

I am very excited to see how fast v4 is evolving. I am using Strapi 4.2 at this moment, in Production, and I am curious about a potential Strapi v5 migration.

Should I prepare my current codebase in any way to be able to migrate to Strapi 5 with little to no issues?

I understand this is very early to ask; however, is there anything I can do with my codebase (or I should NOT) to be compatible?

Any insights are very much appreciated.

Come on, there is no a clear ETA for Strapi 5 and you are thinking on migration already,

I think the main intent is to understand the breaking changes. v3 to v4 had major changes that forced me to redo all the work I’ve done for three months.

It would be better if strapi brought back the customization options for the admin panel.
