The difference between Digital Ocean Droplet and App platform

Basically, I want to use strapi as a CMS. And I plan to host it in digital ocean. That being said, what is the difference between hosting it as a droplet, or hosting it in the app platform?

When you host on their app platform, you don’t set up the infrasture yourself (node.js, web server, DB, Strapi, etc…). With a droplet, you have a full VM, and have to do those things yourself.
